株式会社クエストリー（代表取締役社長：伊部智信）および、株式会社ロイヤリティバンク（代表取締役社長：佐々木隆一）は、みずほ証券株式会社（取締役社長：浜本吉郎）と共同でアニメ映画制作費の資金調達を目的としたコンテンツ・ファンド（愛称：Talent of Talents）を組成することを決定致しましたことをお知らせいたします。

1. 取り組みの狙い

近年、アニメ映画は世界中で人気を博しておりますが、世界を魅了する漫画や小説などの原作は国内外に数多くあり、産業として活性化の余地は大きいと考えております。私たちは、課題解決と中長期的な発展に資する新しいアニメ映画製作を目指し、独自の目線による原作選定と映画化企画によりアニメ映画の製作を開始しております。

枠組みの面では、（海外では事例も多い）①第三者の資金活用の他、②製作現場も含めたスキーム参加者のインセンティブを高め、③将来の投資への良い循環を創造する新しいエコシステムを構築することを目指しております。

資金調達の面では、機関投資家の投資を受ける他、「貯蓄から投資へ」の流れの中、幅広い投資家からの資金調達をテーマとしており、将来、デジタル技術の活用や決済通貨の多様化を視野に入れております。

2.ファンドの企画にあたって

「日本においても、コンテンツ製作の資金調達を、そのプロフェッショナルである金融機関が支援することにより、これまでと違った可能性を見出せるのではないか。」という思いで発起して約2年、過去のプロジェクトを徹底的に見直しながら、新しい枠組みを検討して参りました。日本のコンテンツ・ファンドはまだ持続的な成功に至っていないと理解しておりますが、そのような中で本日、みずほ証券様と共に、私どもの創意工夫が詰まったプロジェクトのリリースを出せますこと、大変嬉しく存じます。ご協力をいただいた多くの皆様に心より御礼申し上げます。

この新たな挑戦にとって最も重要なことは、投資家から集めた金額でも、立ち上げるファンドの数でもなく、今後この仕組みによって生み出されるコンテンツそのものであり、それらが国境を超え、世界中で長らく愛され続けることです。やっとスタートラインに立てたところですが、この革新的な金融の仕組みが、コンテンツ産業に新たな資金と人材を呼び込み、今後益々日本にとって重要となる産業の、持続的な発展に寄与すると信じてやみません。

Tokyo, Japan – [July 2nd 2024] – Questry Co., Ltd. (President: Tomonobu Ibe) and Royalty Bank Co., Ltd. (President: Ryuichi Sasaki) are excited to announce the formation of the “Talent of Talents” content fund. This initiative, in collaboration with Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshiro Hamamoto), aims to secure funding for anime film production.

1. Initiative Objectives

Global Appeal: Anime films have achieved global popularity. With numerous captivating stories from manga and novels, there is immense potential for industry growth. We aim to address existing challenges and innovate anime film production by selecting unique stories and creating original films.

New Ecosystem: We plan to develop a new ecosystem that leverages third-party funding, balances risks and returns for investors and creators, and enhances operational agility.

Funding Strategy: Our approach includes attracting institutional investors and promoting a shift from “savings to investment.” We also plan to incorporate digital technologies and diverse payment methods in the future.

2. Fund Concept

Tomonobu Ibe, President of Questry Co., Ltd. and Director of Royalty Bank Co., Ltd., shared his vision:
